Garden For Hope’s founders speak to churches, schools, service clubs, women’s groups, business teams and student organisations about human trafficking in Nepal and what recovery actually requires. In person across the Greater Cincinnati area, and virtually anywhere.

There is no fee. We ask only that you give us honest time — a talk that gets four minutes at the end of a long agenda tends not to accomplish much for anybody.

Who speaks

  • Jessica Ball — Founder & President
  • Alisia Davis — Founder & Executive Director
  • Ranjana Dhungel — Founder and NGO Executive Director in Nepal, available virtually. Ranjana has worked directly with trafficking survivors in Nepal for over five years and can speak to what happens on the ground in Kathmandu.

What we can cover

  • How trafficking actually works in Nepal — recruitment, the transport routes through Kathmandu to the Indian border, and the adult entertainment sector inside Nepal itself. Sourced, current, and not sensationalised.
  • Why rescue is the easy part — what trauma-informed aftercare involves, why a fixed-length stay does not work, and what it takes to reintegrate a girl into a family and a village.
  • Starting something from nothing — how three women in two countries built a 501(c)(3) and a rescue home. Useful for entrepreneurship classes, women’s groups and leadership programmes.
  • What students can actually do — a version built for high school and college audiences, including how to run a fundraiser that works. Popular with Magnified Giving teams and service-learning classes.
